He has been transferred to the Missoula Zone where he has been called to be Zone leader.  He was transferred the week before Christmas and absolutely loves it!  He said that Missoula is beautiful!  And he thinks he will really like it there.  Here is a part of his email while he was studying this week…

“So I just Love Christmas and all that comes with it! I wanted to share a little part from Preach my Gospel. We were studying about the Atonement the other day and I read this paragraph and a part really stuck out to me. To fulfill the plan of salvation, Christ paid the penalty for our sins. He alone was able to do that. He was called and prepared in pre-Earth life. He was the literal Son of God in the flesh. He was sinless and completely obedient to His Father. Though tempted, He never gave in to temptation. When the Father asked His Beloved Son to pay the price of the world’s sins, Jesus was prepared and willing. The Atonement included His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and His suffering and death on the cross, and it ended with His Resurrection. Though He suffered beyond comprehension–so much so that He bled from every pore and asked whether it were possible that this burden be lifted from Him–He submitted to the Father’s will in a supreme expression of love for His Father and for us. This triumph of Jesus Christ over spiritual death by His suffering and over physical death by His Resurrection is called the Atonement. That part really stuck out to me because even though the Savior knew it would be hard, he did it anyways out of Love for Heavenly Father and for us. And it made think of obedience. Obedience is the first law of Heaven and it’s something we all have to strive to work at. And as I read that part I thought how we all have our little struggles, whether it’s we struggle with reading scriptures every day, or swearing, or for missionaries, some struggle with getting up on time. Whatever it may be, we all have weakness but if we submit to the Fathers will just as Christ did, we will find great peace, joy and happiness. We may think it is hard but we can do it with the Lords help. And it will bring so many blessings. I have seen it on my mission a ton! Sometimes there are rules that you may think are weird but they are there for a reason and they are there to help us grow and change and become better. So I just want to invite everyone to just pick one thing they want to be more obedient at and work on it, I promise you will see so many blessing come from it and that the Savior will be there with you every step of the way.”
