Well, I am leaving Bucheon, heading to Incheon for my last two transfers. I was in Bucheon for 6 months as Zone leader. It was a really great time. Met so many incredible people and was really able to learn a lot. In Incheon I will be with Elder Cook. He just got finished being trained so I will “greenie break him”. He has been on his mission for about 4.5 months and I have heard nothing but great things about him. I have heard nothing but great things about the area and ward as well. I am excited to give it all I have for these last 2 transfers to the Lord. I have been so blessed throughout my whole mission, more than I should have been. I’m so focused on trying to do my small part in changing Korea to come closer to Christ. I love these people. I am impressed and inspired by the members of the church here and their faith. I am awed at the Korean people’s generosity, kindness, and love. This summer is going to be awesome!!
Something that I have thought of lately is if we desire any gift of God, or we desire any good thing, it is based on our faith to receive it. Of course faith without works is dead, so we must work and strive to obtain it. In that striving and working to obtain it, diligence and consistency is so essential. If I compare it to basketball, shooting 10 free throws every day for a month (except Sunday of course) is a lot better than shooting 300 on one day out of the month. It will bring better results because you are constantly everyday building that muscle memory and can improve more each and every day. Same thing with gifts of the spirit. It requires great work each and every day. It requires diligence. Diligence is very important as a missionary in completing goals and helping others come to Christ.
