Kia Ora, Whanau! Another week has come and gone, and I finally got transferred. I am with Elder Smallman, down in a town called Rotorua, in the Fairy Springs ward. So far, things have gone pretty well. Rotorua is a big tourist place, so it is small but there are heaps of shops. There is a lot to do here, so I am pretty excited.
Spiritual Thought: This week, Alma 37:7 has been on my mind a lot. It says “And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls.” We as missionaries never do any one big thing. It consists of the little things we repeatedly do. It is the same in everything we undertake. If we focus on the small things we do, there is no need to worry about the big things.
It has finally stopped raining here, and we are getting some sunshine, which is a nice change. It may not be a White Christmas, but as we focus on Christ, that won’t matter.
